K-S entropy Analysis of Quasar Radio Wave Intensity Time Series

چکیده
1 Introduction Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy (K-S entropy) is used to analyze radio wave intensity time series of quasars. K-S entropy measures the rate of change of probability with the change of dimension that trajectory points in the embedding space stay within a distance r [1]. The K-S entropy analysis method is a powerful formalism for describing dynamics of time series [1]. m-dimensional K-S entropy is estimated by calculating correlation sum C (m) (r) of Grassberger-Procaccia (G-P) method [1].

Evolution of Cosmic System
What does it mean that the cosmic radio wave flux density varies with the passage of time is an interesting question; the radio wave is of the quasar, a system of galaxy, which is distributed in our universe from a few billions of light years to the distanse close to the big bang age and has been radiating immense electromagnetic energy from it by the synchrotron radiation that we may able to m...
متن کاملThe Radio Loud / Radio Quiet dichotomy : news from the 2 dF QSO Redshift Survey
We present a detailed analysis of a sample of radio-detected quasars, obtained by matching together objects from the FIRST and 2dF Quasar Redshift Surveys. The dataset consists of 113 sources, spanning a redshift range 0.3 ∼ z ∼ 2.2, with optical magnitudes 18.25 ≤ bJ ≤ 20.85 and radio fluxes S1.4GHz ≥ 1 mJy. These objects exhibit properties such as redshift and colour distribution in full agre...
متن کاملA New Method for Detection of Backscattered Signals from Breast Cancer Tumors: Hypothesis Testing Using an Adaptive Entropy-Based Decision Function
Introduction In recent years methods based on radio frequency waves have been used for detecting breast cancer. Using theses waves leads to better results in early detection of breast cancer comparing with conventional mammography which has been used during several years. Materials and Methods In this paper, a new method is introduced for detection of backscattered signals which are received by...

With the rapid growth of indoor wireless communication systems, the need to accurately model radio wave propagation inside the building environments has increased. Many site-specific methods have been proposed for modeling indoor radio channels. Among these methods, the ray tracing algorithm and the finite-difference time domain (FDTD) method are the most popular ones. The ray tracing approach ...
متن کاملThe radio properties of radio-quiet quasars
Although radio-quiet quasars (RQQs) constitute > ∼ 90% of optically-identified quasar samples their radio properties are only poorly understood. In this paper we present the results of a multi-frequency VLA study of 27 low-redshift RQQs. We detect radio emission from 20 objects, half of which are unresolved (≤ 0.24). In cases where significant structure can be resolved, double, triple and linea...
